Spacehawk
The Spacehawk is a high-speed, ceiling-mounted automated delivery system. The overhead monorail system leaves floor space available for flexible equipment layout. The monorail is optimally routed between workstations, and also allows for converging and diverging pathways.
The 50kg model travels on straight sections at 180 meters per minutes, approximately ten times the speed of a typical belt conveyor. Loading and unloading take place smoothly, and cycle times can be greatly reduced. Drive train layout can be customized to minimize operational noise, contributing to an optimal working environment.
Loading, transportation and unloading is computer-controlled through an integrated interface that coordinates related equipment and overall operational flow. |
