Leopard wins "iF product design award" for 2010
Okamura Corporation’s Leopard, a new concept seating, won the iF product design award, Office / Business category, one of the world’s most prestigious design accolades.
This year 778 products have been awarded. 2,486 products from 1,016 contestants submitted from 39 different countries, competed for a coveted iF product design award. Our product was able to successfully assert itself in a highly competitive, international environment.
For more than fifty years, iF Industrie Forum Design e.V. has been located in the grounds of the Messe Hannover in Germany. A result of the 1953 "Sonderschau formgerechter Industrieerzeugnisse", the iF Industrie Forum Design e.V. was complemented in 2001 by the iF International Forum Design GmbH, which is responsible for all areas of business, and particularly for the renowned iF competitions.
The iF product design award covers all areas of product design. It serves as a platform for design-relevant innovations, thus recognizing today's globally networked world and its related dynamics. Since 1953, the iF product design award has been recognized as a label for good design.
